2004-05-03 Bunkers in Janowek (2)
People: M&M Trybulec, A Durzynski
Place: large bunkers near Janowek (2)

Another practice-training trip to the bunkers in Janowek. Our friend Andrzej (who joined us already on two trips into the Jura) wanted to learn some of the single rope techniques so that he could explore with us the bigger caves (Urwista, Studnisko and Koralowa slipped by him for now). So we went to practice and we taught: knots, descending in a basic with a shunt, blocking a descent, various ways of putting the rope in a basic, ascending with an ascender and a croll, negotiating belays and deviators up and down. Andrzej was a bit nervous before his first descent, but it went ok. It was much more difficult (and longer) to go up, and on the deviator (that Martha maliciously rigged). Oh, and there were knots to go through both ways.
