2004-10-09 Coral Cave
People: M&M Trybulec, Aro
Cave: Koralowa (Coral)

The last time visited Hawk Mountains near Czestochowa, I wasn't in the mood to visit Coral Cave (after being in Urwista and Studnisko). So, we decided to return to the cave and visit those parts that we omitted the last time: WAR and side passages of the entrance pitch.

First, we climbed to the WAR (that's the first time I climbed in a cave). A nicely washed passage and nice stalactites in the MGG chamber. We descended to its floor and then to a passage ending with a dig. I wonder if the dig can lead to anything interesting... When getting out of the WAR, Martha went down into the nearby pitch. Her description didn't encourage us to follow her. :)

Next, we explored the Entrance Chamber and its side passages, including the Corridor Behind a Swing. It's quire pretty! Not only the numerous formations, but also a hanging carpet made of tree roots.
