Pound Cake |
|
A light, delicious cake; this recipe is my father's.
When he makes it, it's just super!
- butter (about 200-250 g)
- 3/4 glass of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 spoons of wheat flour
- 4 spoons of potato flour
- a flat small spoon of baking powder
- something on top: icing, glaze, icing sugar
- Melt butter in a pot.
- Froth whole eggs with sugar until a fluffy foam forms (several minutes).
- Add both kinds of flour to the dough; and baking powder.
Mix. Add hot butter. Mix some more.
- Pour the dough into a buttered form.
Bake on a small flame for an hour and 15 minutes.
- Add icing (may be lemon, for instance) when it cools.
Or add icing sugar when it's still warm.
