Fried Chicken Liver
Sometimes I just crave this simple fried liver dish.



Ingredients
  • chicken liver - how much depends how hungre people are
  • lots of onion
  • salt, pepper, oil for frying
Directions
  1. Prepare the liver: trim anything that looks sinewy or greenish, trying to keep the lobe shapes as intact as you can. Any blood wash, and pat dry with kithcen towel.
  2. Chop the onion in slices.
  3. Dust the livers with flour and tap off the excess. Do not salt at this stage!
  4. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the livers for 5 mins or until golden, turning them halfway through cooking. Remove the liver from pan, and on the same oil fry the onion.
  5. Salt and pepper to taste just before serving. Bon apetite!
    Some people are adding apple to frying pan.
