Northern Arch (Tawhiti Rahi Island)

F**k! During this dive my camera decided to hang itself; so instead of great photos there's shit...

The dive itself was really nice - we swam between the two walls making up the arch. This arch closes several meters above water level, but is about 30 to 40 meter deep. The walls are covered with all kinds of life, but we found fish the most interesting here: some of them stood in the current that sweeps between the arch's walls, others were continuously going up and down along its walls.

The current, during our dive, was weak enough not to cause any trouble at all. Though you need to be careful when swimming into the arch with the current (the way back, against the current, may not be easy at all). When we were diving, we went into the arch against the current, so the way back was very easy.
