Names of variables in continuous surveys |
The management of data from continuous studies is not easy.
In this text we show a method of assigning names (identifiers) to variables,
so that typical data processing and analysis operations on multi-wave surveys is a bit easier.
This method also safeguards against certain types of errors.

In this version of YAC Data Kit we added new statistics:
- Row sum - Row Sum - sum of cells in a row, grouped by questions.
- Column sum - Col Sum - sum of cells in a column, grouped by questions.
- Row share (of column sums) - Row Share of Col Sums - share in the row of the sum of cells in the cell's column, grouped by questions.
- Column share (of row sums) - Col Share of Row Sums - share in the column of the sum of cells in the cell's row, grouped by questions.

for controlling quotas during a survey.
In this text we go into more detail about the constructs implemented in YIK's scripting language

A new version of our system for questionnaire based research is ready -
YAC Interview Kit.
- Added: introduction of blocks for grouping nested blocks, pages, and questions.
- Added: questions on a page can now be displayed in random order.
- Added: blocks, pages, and questions in a block can now be displayed in random order
- Added: added right-to-left display of response elements (text, radio buttons / check boxes).
- Added: limiting the maximum number of responses a respondent may select in multi-choice questions.
- Added: introduction of test surveys (with more strict access control than demonstration surveys).

In this version of YAC Data Kit we introduced:
- Filtering questions in the target group and questions dialog windows.
- Calculation Base parameter can now display the record set against which the calculations are being run.
- Restricting the lists of questions in the target group and questions dialog windows to the selected record set.
- Forcing a minimum number of waves in analyses.
- Survey expiry date after which a survey becomes unaccessible.
