A short, one day trip to the Tatra Mountains, to the Kalacka cave. Goryczkowa cave was also in our plans, but because of the work going on around the new cable cars, we couldn't get a permit...

The hike to the entrance was very nice, short and easy. Just after the merge of two blue paths, above Kalatowki, turn right and head straight up the steep slope to Kalacka Turnia. A few dozen meters higher you arrive at a rock wall and here you should look for the large entrace to the cave.

We worried a bit about all those sumps shown on the survey, but despite of the falling rain, we had no problems inside.
